Faux Bois – French for “Fake Wood.” Rituals artisan’s application of concrete, mortar and cement to steel frames or armatures to sculpt 3-dimensional representations of wood products, achieving the various textures of wood grain patterns. Most of the faux bois designs resemble logs, roots, branches and bark.
